HTC appears optimistic about the success of this device and the resulting financial performance for Q2 this year. The company recently released its Q1 financial report, which made for grim reading for investors. Revenues were down 98% during the first three month period of the year compared to the same period in 2012. However, HTC executives have forecast that the company’s revenue between April and June will be around $70 billion, showing a huge 63% increase from Q1. This clearly shows that the company is optimistic about the sales of its new HTC One flagship, Unwired View reports.
Obviously, the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 means the company will be facing a fresh challenge, and HTC has acknowledged that a lack of marketing expenditure may have been its downfall in the past, and has earmarked considerable financial resources for promoting its products for the rest of 2013.
